The fingerprint sensor has been broken for over a year now. The phone knows this and removed the setting for fingerprint unlocks as it can't communicate with the sensor. But now suddenly the fingerprint sensor gets really hot. The rest of the phone is fine to touch but the sensor is extremely hot.
